Chris Alam Plumbing and heating is owned and run by myself Chris Alam. I am Gas Safe registered (reg No. 204625) and an approved British Gas installer.
I started my working life as an apprentice plumber/heating engineer in June 1986, straight from leaving school. After 25 years I have a vast amount of knowledge and experience in all aspects of the plumbing and heating trade.
It was during my apprenticeship that I passed my City and guilds craft and advanced craft certificates. From there I went on to work and gain my experience with various plumbing and heating companies. I set up my own business in 2003 due to an increase amount of private work, and realised it was time to be working for myself. Since doing so I have always had work and a large amount of my work is through recommendation of satisfied customers.
I mainly specialise in boiler replacements, system upgrades and full central heating systems.
I carry out all aspects of plumbing and heating works, including:
*Unvented Hot Water Cylinders * Bathroom and shower installations * Gas cooker installation * Gas fire installation * Kitchens/sinks/taps/washing machines etc. * Radiators, valves and pipework * Hot water cylinders and tanks * Maintenance work (pumps, leaks repaired etc) * Power flushing central heating systems
